Articulated specimens are preserved portions of a bird that can be used for educational purposes such as demonstrations, comparisons, and touch tables. Wire is inserted into the joints of these specimens to give them structure.

Study skins are preserved specimens prepared for educational and research purposes. Each specimen is carefully skinned, cleaned, and “stuffed” with cotton to maintain natural body shape. They are ideal for classroom use, species identification exercises, and scientific study, allowing students and educators to observe anatomical characteristics, coloration, and size.
